| 1. | Focus primarily on the theoretical core of systemic thinking, including approaches that have proven to be effective in real-life situations. |
| 2. | Develop increasingly mature scientific theories for systems research and systemic thinking. |
| 3. | Explore potential applications so that real-life benefits result from our deepened understanding of nature and human objects. |

Preparation for the Well-Known IIGSS Workshop Series
The IIGSS is constantly preparing for its upcoming IIGSS Workshops. If you are interested, please email us at iigss@iigss.net with your comments and suggestions.
-
Expansion of the Repository Library Resources
Through various professional contacts, the IIGSS has been actively seeking donations of relevant scholarly works, such as journals, books, conference proceedings, etc., to expand its repository library.
-
Building a Catalog of All Repository Materials
With the support of volunteers, the IIGSS is currently cataloging its collection of scholarly materials in the repository library. This catalog will be available online at www.iigss.net.
-
Hosting Visiting Scholars
On an ongoing basis, the IIGSS invites scholars to visit, meet colleagues, study, and make presentations at the headquarters of the IIGSS in Grove City, Pennsylvania, USA.
-
Enhancing the Website
The official website of the IIGSS is continually being updated as more current information becomes available.
-
Obtaining a Dedicated Office Space
The IIGSS is currently discussing with prospective donors the possibility of obtaining a campus for its activities.
-
Fundraising for the Institute
Fundraising is an ongoing activity necessary to realize the goals and objectives of the IIGSS in terms of systems education, research in systemic science and related matters.
As it grows, the IIGSS plans to communicate with its associates through a regularly published newsletter.
Since 1998, the IIGSS has had an officially established academic press to serve the scientific community through better communication in various forms. Here the goal is to publish books, journals and other relevant materials.
The IIGSS is planning to design and offer various courses aiming to educate new generations of systemic thinkers so that more real-life and scholastic benefits can be achieved. The IIGSS is aspiring to eventually establish an educational institute with degree programs in systemic sciences and technology.
The IIGSS will soon offer courses on the principles of systemic thinking, mathematical and computer modeling, computer simulation and other relevant topics.
The IIGSS is planning to sponsor the research and publication of the General Tropodynamics theory. This theory is a direct consequence of the currently successful “blown-up theory,” which has had practical applications in forecasting disastrous weather conditions during the last 20+ years.
Calls for repository and historical item donations for the IIGSS repository and library are an on-going effort. This library can eventually become a unique resource for the international community of systemic thinkers and practitioners.
The IIGSS hopes to implement a generalized simulation software which embodies the powerful theoretical results of systemic thinking. As a result, prospective applications can be facilitated and checked, and students can experiment with systemic concepts in a safe and educational way.
With collective intelligence and collegial connections from around the world, the IIGSS will be more than capable of offering consulting services to companies, academic entities, government agencies, etc., providing the most current information and advice.
Since the concepts and theoretical results of systemic thinking have many potential real-life benefits, the IIGSS will develop enterprises within its scope that will apply theoretical studies. This will allow future generations of systems analysts to think systemically and scientifically as well as put their knowledge into practice.
Over time, the IIGSS will set up more regional and international branches at various geographical locations and with different scientific focuses.
