About the IIGSS, Inc.

 

A Non-profit scholastic Organization: The International Institute for General Systems Studies, Inc., is established for the advancement of scientific studies and education in systemic research with applications in all branches of science and human affairs. It is incorporated as a section 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization under the laws of the US Internal Revenue Service.

A Brief History: The International Institute for General Systems Studies, Inc., was initially planned by an organizing committee consisting of Drs. Jeffrey Yi Lin Forrest, Yonghao Ma, and Erick Vierthaler in 1993 with Dr. Forrest as the committee chairman. The institute has been in operation since January 1, 1994, with Dr. Jeffrey Forrest as its president and director, Dr. Yonghao Ma as its executive director, Dr. Peter Idowu as its secretary, and Steve Wang as its treasurer.
