About the IIGSS

A Non-Profit Scholastic Organization

The International Institute for General Systems Studies, Inc., was established for the advancement of scientific studies and education in systemic research with applications in all branches of science and human affairs. It is incorporated as a section 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization under the laws of the US Internal Revenue Service.


History

The IIGSS was initially organized by a committee consisting of Dr. Jeffrey Yi Lin Forrest, Dr. Yonghao Ma, and Dr. Erick Vierthaler in 1993, with Dr. Forrest as the committee chairman. The institute has been in operation since January 1, 1994, with Dr. Jeffrey Forrest as president and director, Dr. Yonghao Ma as executive director, Dr. Peter Idowu as secretary, and Steve Wang as treasurer.
